Chaliť Richards takes Linton Park

22 September, 2011

South African winery Linton Park has named Chaliť Richards as its UK agent.

Linton Park is located on the slopes of the Groenberg Mountain near Wellington and Paarl and was established in 1699 by French Huguenot Louis Fourie.

As well as the Linton Park Reserve wines from selected single vineyard blocks, the range includes Louis Fourie 1699 and Rhino wines, which raise money for the Save the Rhino International charity.

Linton Parkís wines are targeted at both the on and off-trades. Chaliť Richards will be showing the portfolio at the Cape Wine Europe tasting at Earls Court on October 11.

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
