Interactive poster ads for Foster's Gold

Foster’s Gold lager is claiming an advertising first with a digital poster campaign that will allow users to upload content directly to Facebook.

The interactive posters are appearing this month on bus shelters across the UK.

They will take photos of a viewer’s face and allow them to choose from a selection of online smart-casual clothes to create a bigger picture.

The Foster’s advertising campaign’s Brad and Dan will then be superimposed and the completed image uploaded to Foster’s own Facebook page.

Nic Casby, brand manager at Heineken UK, said: “This really is brilliant technology that will bring our advertising proposition to life and I’m sure consumers will have great fun using it.”

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
