Bulldog was launched in the UK in early 2009 by its creator and chief executive Anshuman Vohra.
It will join a Wray & Nephew brands portfolio that includes Appleton Estate and Wray & Nephew White Overproof rums, and the speciality spirits Alize, Dooley’s and Licor 43.
The gin is noted for its unusual botanicals including dragon eye from China and white poppy from Turkey.
Vohra said: “The partnership between Bulldog and J Wray & Nephew fits very well with our global expansion strategy and it will help ensure that the product takes its rightful place as an indispensable base for classic as well as innovative cocktails, and will enable it to become a mainstay in the premium gin scene.”
