Ads to back Scrumpy Jack balloon promotion

Scrumpy Jack is backing an on-pack promotion with national press advertising in April and May.

The on-pack consumer competition will offer a prize of two luxury balloon flights, plus branded flight jackets, every day in each month.

The promotion is being run in conjunction with Virgin Balloon Flights.

It is appearing on all 50cl cans of the cider and consumers can enter through the brand’s scrumpyshire.co.uk website.

Everyone entering will receive a 30% discount on Virgin balloon flights.

John Edwards, marketing director of Jygsaw Brands, said: “The promotion continues to position Scrumpy Jack as a brand that reminds drinkers of the charm of the countryside, helping them to unwind.”

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
