Director Simon Farr said that, since joining the company 18 months ago from Cellar Door, Nolan had opened up new markets, grown value in the brand and increased distribution of Argento in the UK and Europe.
He said: "Her experience in selling and marketing New World branded wines from Australia, California, Chile and New Zealand has been invaluable. I have every confidence that she will continue to drive growth in both the Argento brand and the Argentinian wine category as a whole in her new role as managing director."
Nolan said consumers' growing interest in Malbec meant she was predicting a positive outlook for Argentinian wine.
She said: "The current wave of excitement surrounding the Argentinian category in many key wine markets around the world, combined with the outstanding wine quality that Argentina is capable of producing at every price point, gives me complete confidence that the future for Argentina is very bright."
