Blossom Hill extends rosé range

22 October, 2007

Blossom Hill is adding a drier style rosé to its portfolio to take advantage of growing interest in the category.

The Blossom Hill Shiraz rosé will be launched later this month in the off-trade by distributor Percy Fox, alongside the brand's already established White Zinfandel and White Grenache.

Earlier this year, fellow Californian wine brand, E&J Gallo released a Shiraz rosé under its Turning Leaf label in response to demand for drier style rosés.

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
