This year's John Smith's People's Race attracted more than 3,000 entries in 10 days and raised more than ú100,000 for charity - and S&N hopes to raise five times as much next year.
The competition will be promoted on packs of John Smith's, and entries can be made online at johnsmiths.co.uk and ladbrokes.co.uk, or in Ladbrokes shops, between now and Dec 7.
A shortlist of 32 will be selected to start training and
whittled down to 10
to race at Aintree.
John Smith's drinkers who don't make it into the race will have the chance to win tickets to the Grand National.
Marketing director Sarah Warby (pictured with Clare Balding at last year's launch) said: " Our role as sponsor of the John Smith's Grand National provides us with a unique opportunity to offer ordinary members of the public the chance to become part of Aintree racing history."
