Peroni picks winners for promotions

The general manager of Makro in Nottingham has won a trip for two to Rome after wowing judges with a display for Peroni Nastro Azzurro.

Jez Larkin and his team created the winning display from POS material supplied by the Italian beer producer. They also created events to help drive sales, including

Peroni with food sampling.

Runners up were staff at Imperial Cash & Carry in Edmonton who won £1,000 and those at Dhamecha Foods in Wembley who won £500.

Nick Miller, sales director at Miller Brands UK, said: "This incentive has been a great success. "

Peroni will be announcing the winners of its customer competition this month. Those who entered the prize draw at participating cash and carr ies have the chance to win a Ferrari racetrack experience.
