Grant's to target Classic FM listeners

05 November, 2007

Scotch whisky brand, Grant’s is sponsoring radio station Classic FM this December as part of promotional activity for Christmas.

The blended whisky brand will advertise on air and on the radio station’s website in a bid to target drinkers aged 40 and over.

Mark Collins, brand manager for Grant’s said: “Over 2.3 million Classic FM listeners regularly enjoy a glass of whisky, so we are also looking to convert whisky drinkers who don’t currently consider Grant’s a part of their blended whisky repertoire.”

Distributor First Drinks will also be offering 350,000 premium gift boxes with bottles of Grant’s Family Reserve and will send out special display units and POS to retailers.

Collins added: “Our objective is to motivate target drinkers to choose a bottle of Grant’s – whether for personal consumption or as a gift – over the Christmas period.”

English wine: a happy harvest for Christmas

Half an hour later they’re crawling over muddy clods with lacerated hands, drenched in claggy juice and cold sweat, as if ploughing through an endurance race.
