Famous Grouse reappears for Christmas

06 November, 2007

The Famous Grouse will return to our screens this Christmas in a £1 million ad campaign.

Three 20 second adverts have been produced featuring the grouse in different situations - walking a red carpet, on the bonnet of a classic car and balanced on a rock in the middle of a storm.

The ads will be aired on terrestrial and satellite TV channels between sports and drama programmes during December.

Emma Heath Maxxium UK marketing manager said: “Christmas is a pivotal time of year for The Famous Grouse. We enjoyed an excellent Christmas in 2006 boosted by high impact advertising.

“The planned advertising campaign shows the continued commitment The Famous Grouse has to building consumer awareness for the brand and the Scotch Whisky category as a whole.”
