The best website in the world? Brewer certainly hopes so

16 November, 2007

Carlsberg UK has redesigned its website as part of a £13 million media spend to support its brands.

The new-look was unveiled last week and showcases the entire Carlsberg range, as well as promoting the brand's sponsorship of the England football team and its official beer status for UEFA 2008 and Wembley Stadium.

Visitors to the site can also view recent ad campaigns and enter competitions online.

Carlsberg marketing director Darran Britton said: "The internet is becoming an increasingly important place for people to find information and communicate with each other and with the world at large.

"Carlsberg prides itself on both the quality of

products and the experience we bring to the consumer so it makes sense that if people are drinking (probably) the best lager in the world, they should see the brand at (probably) the best internet site in the world as well."

Carlsberg said the website will be updated on a regular basis with news, promotions, events and other information.
