Partridge is out of pear tree for winter
Published:  16 November, 2007

Hall & Woodhouse has produced a new ale for winter.

Pickled Partridge is a dark beer made with crystal and chocolate malts and Admiral and Hallertau hops with an abv of 4.6 per cent.

Head brewer Dr Tim Morris said: "We've used only the finest natural ingredients, combined with pure Dorset spring water from our own well, to create this rich, reddish-brown beer with a loose foam head. Its nutty and fruity overtones are ideal for serving with cheese platters and Christmas desserts."

The beer is currently being listed in 50cl bottles in selected Tescos and will be available on draught until January 2008.
