A series of three 20-second ad s will feature the Grouse in different situations -
strutting up the red carpet, on the bonnet of a classic car and balanced on a rock in the middle of a storm.
The ads will run from Dec 1-23 on terrestrial and satellite TV between sports and drama programmes, with more screenings in Scotland, the brand's heartland.
Emma Heath, Maxxium UK's marketing manager, said: "Christmas is a pivotal time of year for The Famous Grouse - Nielsen data shows that last year, one million cases of blended Scotch were sold during December in retailers alone. We enjoyed an excellent Christmas in 2006 boosted by high impact advertising. The Grouse is a much loved character, adding plenty of festive cheer".
