Foodie focus for Alsace Wines

Alsace Wines is to make food and wine matching the main focus of its 2008 marketing campaign.

A series of online activities, highlighting the compatibility of wines from Alsace with Asian food, will run throughout the year.

The online promotions, including one with Delia Online at Chinese New Year, will support the current ad campaign which aims to "keep Alsace wines front of mind for the consumer when both eating and cooking Asian style cuisine."

Alsace Wines will also be participating in the International Riesling & Pinot Noir review at this year's London International Wine Fair as part of its work with the wine trade.

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
