Organic focus for LIWF Top 100

15 February, 2008

London International Wine Fair organisers, Brintex, have replaced rosé with organic for this year's Top 100 tasting.

A panel of wine experts comprising Beverley Blanning MW, Sally Easton MW, Rosemary George MW, Jamie Goode and Max Allen, will select 100 of the best organic and biodynamic wines for taste at the fair from May 20 to 22.

James Murray, exhibition director at Brintex, said: “Building on the success of last year’s tasting, we are delighted to turn our attention to another key trend in the wine trade. We are very pleased by the diverse and exciting range of organic and biodynamic wines selected by our panel of experts.”

The tasting in the South Hall at Excel, will feature organic and biodynamic wines at different price-points, representing both Europe and the New World, all selected on the basis of overall quality, consistency and value for money.
