The new-look 25g packs will feature tick boxes saying: less than 100 calories, 79 per cent wholegrain, no artificial colours and flavours, baked not fried, and high in fibre.
The message that Twiglets are now wholegrain instead of wholewheat will be supported by the tagline A Whole Lot of Crunch in a Wholegrain Munch.
Commercial manager Nick Stuart said: "UB remains committed to constantly improving
its products and improving the nutritional communication to consumers. Twiglets is the latest brand to benefit from this."
United Biscuits is also bringing back Dark Chocolate Hob Nobs. The reintroduction of the range has been prompted by a demand for dark chocolate in all snacking areas, according to Stuart. Packs will retail for £1.69.
