Gaymer's goes local with its latest County Series

04 April, 2008

Gaymer's has launched a range of county-produced ciders to tap into the trend for local produce.

The Gaymer's County Series features a classic medium-dry style cider from Somerset and a medium cider from Devon.

John Mills, managing director of Gaymer's, said interest in locally-made products, coupled with increasing momentum in the cider category, had led the company to come up with the new range.

"Gaymer's County Series meets these two consumer trends - it's set to appeal to the growing number of people looking for authentic, local produce, and who consider themselves connoisseurs in their choice of premium food and drink," he said.

The new range will be available from May with an rrp of £1.69.
