First TV appearance for Red Stripe

10 April, 2008

Ads for Jamaican lager Red Stripe are to appear on TV for the first time.

The beer brand has signed a £500,000 deal to sponsor music programme Rockfeedback Presents on Channel 4 for the next six weeks.

Ads will also top and tail the second series of the Saturday show when it airs in the autumn.

The TV sponsorship follows the news that Red Stripe will be the headline

sponsor of two UK grass-roots music festivals this year – Camden Crawl and The Great Escape.
