Future Wines is now the UK importer of Uruguay's Gimenez Mendez wines. The range , which comprises four Tannat variations and a Sauvignon Blanc, will be available to retailers after the London International Wine Fair in May.

10 International has signed a deal with Chile's Tierra Del Fuego winery to represent it in the UK. As well as selling the winery's usual range, the company will

unveil a

wine called Chamanto at the London International Wine Fair.

Louis Latour Agencies has appointed Janet Guest sales manager for northern England, northern Wales and Scotland. Guest joins from Patriarche Wine Agencies where she was sales manager.

Mentzendorff has released a non-vintage rosé by Champagne Bollinger. The new wine is made from a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier and is based on Bollinger's special cuvée blend. The Champagne is currently on sale at Selfridges with an rrp of £55.99 and will be launched to the rest of the trade at the London International Wine Fair.

Champagne Taittinger is sponsoring an exhibition to celebrate the centenary of the birth of James Bond creator Ian Fleming. Bond Bound:

Ian Fleming & the Art of Cover Design will feature cover artwork from Fleming's books about the suave

secret agent and will include previously unseen archive material. It will be open to the public from April 22 to June 28 at the Fleming Collection at 13 Berkeley Street, London W1.

The reasons Donald Trump should not be left in charge of a shopping trolley, let alone the keys to the White House, are plentiful and well-documented – from his use of the word “bigly” and lamentable business legacy to his dubious post-modern feminist principles, quite astonishing lack of political acumen and, most worrying of all, his bewildering hair.
