Sauza tequila gets modern makeover

Beam Global's premium tequila brand Sauza has been repackaged as part of a £650,000 push.

The Blanco and Reposado variants will be available from May in revamped bottles, which are taller than the original and feature bolder images of the agave plant.

The new look is designed to position Sauza as a "modern mixable white spirit", according to brand manager Daniel Deephouse, with a neck

collar featuring the recipe for the paloma - a cocktail popular in Mexico

Rosé tinted glasses

I was asked recently what I thought the biggest change had been in wine fashion in the past five years. My answer was unequivocal: sales of pink wines. From being a niche that expanded and contracted with the sunshine, rosé has subtly but steadily become a stalwart of many merchants’ ranges, with Provence firmly at the top and asked for by name.
