A wine made by a French Bond girl and a brand that's adopted a gorilla called Amy. Yes, this really is Italy.

Crush Wines is launching a number of wines

all offering a point of difference in terms of price, margins, packaging and

styles. Highlights include Quanto Basta, a range of 20cl and 25cl wines with screwcap closures. The wines have been sourced from the Veneto and Romagna and there are also Verdicchio, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and frizzante offerings.

The now established Gorilla range has been extended - a Pinot Grigio and Gorilla Pink join Gorilla Syrah, Primitivo and Grillo. Donations from the sales of Gorilla Wines will go to gorilla charities, including the Gorilla Organisation where Crush Wines has already adopted one large furry friend - Amy.

Also on show will be two dual varietal wines in 75cl Tetra Prisma packs to meet the demand for environmentally-sound products and in view of the fact that Tetra Prisma recycling facilities have increased five-fold in the UK. Maurillo Chiccia's latest vintages from Umbria complete the selection with Cardeto Orvieto Classico and the reds Cardeto Nero della Greco and Pinot Nero. Stand R42

Buckingham Vintners will be presenting Pink Frizzante, a range of pink fizz including Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio blush and Prosecco rosé variants. The range satisfies strong demand from the rosé and sparkling categories. Also on show will be the Italian variant in the agency's range of 50cl wines. Stand T42

Ethica wineries will be showing the revamped and extended range of Storie di Vite wines from Trentino. It includes a Pinot Grigio, rosé, Nosiola and Marzemino. Also on show will be Canaletto Bambini, which offers a white Pinot Grigio delle Venezie and a red Montepulciano d'Abruzzo in 25cl . They are listed by Sainsbury's at £1.99. Stand D22

Guy Anderson has ventured into Italy

and its first wines

include Rocca Vecchia Chianti and Pinot Grigio; Via Collina, a DOC Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba Piedmont red; L'Aquila di Todi from Umbria and a Lambrusco called Chiarli. Stand C12

PLB is celebrating its 25th anniversary on a

decorated stand and Italian wines will be a focal point. On show will be the recently launched Tiers range,

initially offering three Chianti wines - Chianti, Chianti Classico and Classico Riserva. Priced from £5 to £10-plus, the wines target the multiple off-trade and mail order sectors.

Tuscan producer Piccini will also be present to launch two wines: Piccini Selezione Rosa is a Sangiovese rosé from Tuscany, vintage 2007 and with an rrp of £6.99, and Il Pacchia, the first wine from Piccini's Tenuta Moraia estate in the Maremma district and owned by

Piccini since 2000. Alongside will be the sparkling wines of Piedmont producer Tosti.

Stand 60

Moreno Wines is showing a selection of Italian wines which are new to its portfolio. There

will be Mionetto Prosecco's sparklers - Spago, a frizzante Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOC and the Sergio Proseccos, which include a rosé fizz (rrp £9-£13.50). Moreno has also entered into ­partnership with Badia a Coltibuono (Chianti Classico), which is run by the Stucchi Prinetti family. A range of Chianti wines from £12 will be on show as well as a sweet vinsanto. Stand H10

Cavit will be showing a new rosé in its Mastri Vernacoli range. The wines are all made from indigenous Trentino varieties. The new addition is a blend of Schiava, Teroldego and Lagrein and "striking packaging" is promised. Stand B3

D&D Wines International will be teaming up with La Gioiosa to show the latest additions to its range. Highlights include new "lower in alcohol" wines - a Pinot Grigio, Pinot Grigio Blush, Merlot and Prosecco Spumante - all weighing in at 9% abv.

This is achieved by choosing "the right grape varieties" which are grown in the cool climate of the Veneto and picked early while sugar levels are still low.

Alongside will be a "super-Venetian" blend made from Cabernet and Merlot, two traditional method sparklers made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and La Gioiosa's Prosecco Raboso Spumante Rosé - the addition of the red variety Raboso adds red berry fruits and more weight.

Stand L10

François Lurton will be showing Sangue d'Oro, a sweet wine produced on the small volcanic island of Pantelleria, off the coast of Sicily. It is made by French actress and ex-Bond girl Carole Bouquet. Sorry guys, she hasn't confirmed her attendance. Stand P1

Gruppo Nicosia will present its Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico DOCG 2001 from Sicily's first DOCG classified area. Stand V52

Twenty producers from Piedmont covering 44 DOCs and 13 DOCGs will show a range of regional wines and local delicacies at the Italian pavilion. Stand V40

Italy has significantly increased its presence at this year's show. For the first time, all the Italian regions will be brought together in one area with Piedmont, Sicily and Lazio joining the main hub. A varied schedule of Italian wine seminars will also take place throughout the three days . They will each last around 45 minutes and focus on individual regions through tastings, discussion of winemaking techniques and export potential. Speakers include M&S buyer Jo Ahearne for Sicily, Michèle Shah for Tuscany and Sardinia, Charles Metcalfe for Abruzzo and Lazio, Peter McCombie MW for Lombardy and Piedmont and Daniele Rossellini for Chianti Classico.

The seminars will take place at a stand-alone theatre at the east end of the hall surrounded by the Italian Trade Commission and Italian regional pavilions. Stand V40. See
