First blush of youth

The surge in rosé's popularity shows no sign of abating this summer, so here's your chance to get hold of some bottles of Faustino rosado Rioja.

Faustino is as passionate about its rosado wines as it is for its gran reserva and reserva reds. "They have been sensitively created to contemporary tastes, with vibrant, fresher-tasting fruit and harmonious, subtle aromas. They offer great value alongside superior quality," a spokeswoman says.

Faustino will sponsor The Variety Club of Great Britain Golf Society luncheon in June. It marks the appointment of Jimmy Tarbuck as president, and guest speakers include Les Dennis and Bernard Gallagher. For more than 50 years, the Variety Club has been helping disadvantaged children by providing Sunshine Coaches, electric wheelchairs, daytrips, and equipment for hospitals.

Three OLN readers can each receive three bottles of Faustino rosado Rioja - Faustino V rosado and Faustino VII rosado, both made with classic Tempranillo grapes, plus Faustino Cava Brut Rosado made from Garnacha.

For your chance to win, just answer this question:

Name one of the classic Rioja grapes used in Faustino rosado wines?

Email your answer by June 13 to, and include your name, shop or office name, full address and telephone. For Faustino trade enquiries, contact Cellar Trends on 01283 217703.
