Whyte & Mackay strengthens off-trade sales team
Published:  11 June, 2008

Whyte & Mackay has appointed Anheuser-Busch's John Bradbury as off-trade sales director, replacing Simon Oldham, who has been made UK managing director.

Oldham said: “We are delighted to have John on board as not only does he have a fantastic record in implementing and delivering strategies, but he is in tune with what the customer wants, which will make him instrumental in the development of our trade marketing plans.”

Bradbury described Whyte & Mackay as a “dynamic, forward-thinking company” which has a “portfolio of great brands to work with”. He will start his role on July 1.

Whyte & Mackay has also announced it has given Vladivar vodka its second packaging makeover in two years. The new look is designed to broaden the brand’s appeal to 18 to 34-year-olds. The inspiration for the label has been taken from the original Vladivar branding and sees the return of the Romanov eagle crest and the bright blue colour.
