Entwine goes low with lighter line

13 June, 2008

ZGM is rolling out a range of low alcohol wine-based fizzes, spritzers and coolers.

Each variant in the Entwine range has an abv of 5.5%, offering consumers "a quality, lighter alternative to wine", according to ZGM UK's managing director, Steve Howard.

Included in the line-up is a Premium Bucks Fizz, a blend of white wine and Brazilian orange juice (rrp £4.99) ; Raspberry and Cranberry Fizz, a blend of raspberry and cranberry juices and white wine (rrp £4.99) ; Elderflower Cooler, a blend of elderflower, white wine and still water (rrp £3.99) ; Shiraz Rosé Spritzer, a blend of fruity Shiraz rosé and sparkling water (rrp £3.49) ; and Sauvignon Blanc Spritzer (rrp £3.49).

"It appeals to those who have a hectic and healthy lifestyle, allowing them to indulge in an alcoholic drink without high levels of alcohol that can leave consumers with a heavy head," Howard said.

The launch will be supported by a £2.5 million marketing campaign that includes consumer PR, direct mail, sampling

and in-store activity.
