Jameson presents Premium fab four

13 June, 2008

Jameson Irish Whiskey is launching a range of top-end blended whiskies called the Jameson Premium Collection.

The four-strong range comes from rare and limited

stocks at the Midleton Single Distillery in county Cork. Jameson 12 Year Old Special Reserve (rrp £23.79) is described by master distiller Barry Crockett as "warm and spicy, with sherry richness and a nutty flavour", while Jameson 18 Year Old (£65.99) has a more complex taste that includes fudge, toffee, wood and leather.

Jameson Gold Reserve (£49.99)

does away with the usual age descriptor and instead includes the three best whiskies available to the distillers.

The Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve will retail for £295 and is the product of Jameson's oldest whiskies. Only 3,900 bottles will be available worldwide, with 48 bottles

in the UK .
