more than 1,000 summer music events and festivals will get the chance to sample energy drink Rockstar .
The push is designed to "bring the brand to the coolest people at the trendiest places", according to Zach Lambakis, executive vice president of global business development.
It will include sampling at the Rockstar Taste of Chaos Tour,
coming to the UK for the third year, and
rock bands playing
major cities across the country.
Market managers have also been appointed in the brand's key city centres to drive brand awareness and set up further sampling activity and sponsorship deals.
Last year Barr Soft Drinks signed an exclusive five-year partnership agreement with US company Rockstar Energy Drinks, to sell its double-sized energy drink brands across the UK.
The brand comes in 50cl cans in three variants - Original, Sugar Free & Juiced Mango, Orange & Passionfruit.
