Feminine appeal for Frizzante

range of Italian sparkling wines aimed at women in the 25-to-35 age bracket has been launched by Buckingham Schenk.

Morrisons is

listing the Pinot Grigio blush, the first product in the Frizzante range being produced by Schenk Italia.

The wine is being sold by the multiple for £4.99.

Buckingham Schenk approached non-wine design agencies to come up with the wine's look, which it said takes its cues from the world of perfume, with sweeping fonts and luxurious colours.

English wine: a happy harvest for Christmas

All across England and Wales, vineyards are being harvested. Down winding country lanes come armies of welly-wearing conscripts wielding secateurs and buckets, ready to reap the rewards of our vines. Happily they come, their cheeks ruddy with pride.
