To enter, retailers must run a themed promotion around the country's wines - and the first 150 independents to contact WOSA will receive a free merchandising kit to support their activity. The kit includes posters, blank shelf barkers, neck collars, postcards, bunting, maps, plus a
two-minute DVD and booklet giving details of South Africa's climate and regions.
The in-store promotion must take place during September or October and readers have until Aug 29 2008 to request a kit, although they will be sent on a first -come basis.
Having taken part in the promotion, retailers will then be eligible to enter our competition to win a trip to South Africa.
Participants will need to explain in 700 words or fewer how they approached their in-store activity. Judges will be looking to recognise the retailer who has gone the extra mile to create an effective promotion, executed with flair.

As well as being able to explore the country themselves, they will get to share their experiences with other independents by writing a short piece which will later appear in OLN.
