Kettle introduces hot and spicy bid

Kettle Chips is broadening its range with a Red Thai Curry flavour. Hand-cooked in sunflower oil and seasoned with natural spices, the crisps are available in 150g bags with an rrp of ú1.39.

The south east Asian curry flavour has been introduced

in a bid to enter the category of hot and spicy seasonings,

the fourth most popular seasoning

in

adult and premium crisps and snacks,

with a 13% value share, according to marketing director Andrew Slamin.

"The new Red Thai Curry will

boost

our strong core range, which has seen an increase of over one million new households purchasing Kettle Chips in the last 12 months."
