Pernod Ricard sold the business in October 2007 to the Dutch wine merchant Baarsma Wine Group Holding.
Myliko said the decision to take on the brand was in line with its strategy to expand into the cash and carry and independents market. Canei will also "satisfy a gap" in the distributor's range for low-alcohol wine.
A spokesperson for Myliko said: "We are very excited about the future of the Canei brand . We believe the demand for lower -alcohol wines, coupled with the new packaging and promotional activity, will give us the potential to gain significant new listings across the country.
"Canei is also a well established global brand which will enhance our portfolio and offer new business potential in various sectors of the drinks industry."
The range includes a Frizzante White (abv 8.5%), Frizzante RosÚ (abv 8.5%) and Frizzante Peach -flavoured wine (abv 5%),
available in 20cl and 75cl bottles.
