Heineken has the Bond bug again

Heineken has signed a global promotional partnership with the forthcoming James Bond film Quantum of Solace.

A TV and print ad campaign will feature Bond girl Olga Kurylenko and there will be tie-in off-trade promotions, radio activity and consumer competitions from October.

The TV commercial was shot with sets from the film.

The film opens in November and is the fifth consecutive Bond release with which the lager brand has had a marketing link.

Stefan Orlowski, group commerce director for Heineken, said: “Our long association with James Bond has helped enhance the profile of the Heineken brand across the world.

“The partnership supports our commitment to extend the brand's leadership position within the international premium beer segment.”
