Charity beers for Adnams

28 August, 2008

Adnams has added two 50cl bottled beers to its range - 4% abv ruby ale Gunhill and 3.4% abv Lighthouse.

Gunhill was named after a famous landmark in the brewery's home town of Southwold, and Adnams is donating money from its sales to the Prostate Cancer Charity. The beer was launched with a sponsored walk by Adnams staff along the coastal path from North Norfolk to Southwold,

rais ing £3,000 .

The brewer described Lighthouse, its lowest abv bottled offering, as "a crisp, refreshing beer with a long after palate".

Adnams now has seven beers in its bottled range, which is sold in its own Cellar & Kitchen stores as well as throughout the off and on-trade.
