The Herefordshire brewery is celebrating winning C amra's champion bottle-conditioned beer of Britain award at the Great British Beer Festival with Dorothy Goodbody's Wholesome Stout.
Managing director Vernon Amor said: "We are very excited to win a national award like this and
are putting in our own bottling line this year
working towards building up our bottled sales."
The brewery's range is currently listed in some local supermarkets, and its cask range is sold in regional pubs, but it hopes to
gain national listings as it
ups its output.
Fuller's 1845 and Wells & Young's Special London Ale won gold and bronze awards respectively, in C amra's bottle-conditioned category, while Alton's Pride, from the Triple fff Brewery in Hampshire, was named champion beer of Britain overall.
