Teacher's is trying to cash in on the 30-plus male market by offering consumers the chance to win a classic car in a 100,000-bottle on-pack promotion backed by national press ads throughout September.

WKD has launched a cinema-specific ad that is to run until the end of December and aims to strengthen the RTD brand's ties to grass-roots football. The ad will be given online back-up with visitors to offered the chance to win the team strips featured on cinema screens.

Absolut is rolling out a gift pack made from over 3,000 red sequins. A zipper runs down the back of the pack to reveal the 70cl bottle of vodka

inside. Around 3.7 million Absolut Masquerade gift packs will be available worldwide, with Asda and Selfridges initially stocking it in the UK.

Grand Marnier has released its 2008 limited edition bottle, which has a red fur collar and nubuck coat (rrp £20).

Hofmeister may need more than the bear essentials to succeed

So, George The Bear is back. Itís hard for some of us oldies to fathom, but there are those under, say, 40 who canít actually remember Hofmeister and feel the cultural jolt supplied by the return of both the bear and the beer whose marketing campaigns it used to front.
