The brand will make its full return to the market on Oct 6 after selling 20 million units in the seven weeks it was on sale in 2007. Cadbury said this represented its fastest new product sell-out in the past four years.
"There will be no more limited editions for Wispa," said trade communications manager Kate Harding. "We have listened to our customers and will be bringing back Wispa for good.
"Dedicated POS will be available to highlight the launch and retailers are advised to create some in-store theatre to make the most of the opportunity."
