Cadbury's fruity combination

Cadbury is ploughing £2 million into the launch of

fruit-flavoured Dairy Milk bars.

The roll-out of

Dairy Milk Cranberry

& Granola and

Dairy Milk Apricot Crumble Crunch will be supported by a marketing push called Loving Combinations. It will include TV ads, sampling and PR .

Both variants will be available in 49g bars, retailing for 49p.

The bars

were a year and a half

in the making and

experts experimented with 200

flavour combinations, according to the company.

The first Dairy Milk combination -

Fruit and Nut - was created 80 years ago.

Trade communications manager Kate Harding said

the Cadbury Dairy Milk

brand is worth

some £370 million in retail sales value.
