The brothers have bought the business and nine of its pubs from PricewaterhouseCoopers for an undisclosed sum. A spokesman said there would now be a review of operations.
The brothers retained ownership of the brewery site despite surrendering the business to administrators on Aug 7, following a £4.6 million loss in the six months to April and a winding-up petition from Revenue & Customs over unpaid tax bills.
Craig Livesey, joint administrator and director at PwC said: “After a difficult period of trading for the company in administration, we are pleased that a sale of the business as a going concern has been possible.
“We believe that this sale gives the best chance for continued employment for the majority of the company’s staff, and also gives suppliers and customers an opportunity of continued business with the brewery.”
PwC is continuing to search for a buyer for the remaining pubs.
