The seven wines will all retail at £7.99 and appear on a separate shelf together rather than being merchandised by country or colour.
The range comprises Eden Valley Riesling and Barossa Valley Shiraz from Australia, Leyda Valley Sauvignon Blanc and Casablanca Valley Pinot Noir from Chile, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from Italy, an Albari ño from Galicia in northern Spain and a single vineyard French Viognier.
Each wine has been bought "for the felicities of that particular vintage" and might be replaced by something different once stock is exhausted, said the Co-op.
The wines will appear in 1,752 Co-op stores across the country.
Maria Elener, the Co-op's wine buyer for Fairtrade, Australasia, South Africa and Italy, has been named buyer of the year in the Everywoman in Retail Awards.
