The new formats include 8x44cl and 12x40cl Magners Original can multipacks. Magners is also introducing a 4x33cl Magners Original bottle option to accompany the existing 6x33cl format.
The cider is also launching a “four for three” offer on Magners Original and Magners Light 33cl long-neck bottles. Magners hopes the deals will “help drive trial and awareness of the Light brand in particular”.
Brand manager Richard Barnes said: “We are always looking for ways to increase our on-shelf presence, especially during such an important period for the off-trade. It is vital that we listen to the feedback from our customers and consumers alike and are then flexible enough to react quickly and offer more variety to our product portfolio.
“We have already secured strong distribution for these new SKUs and are convinced that they will provide retailers with all they need to grow their sales, while offering consumers compelling incentives to purchase Magners in the run-up to Christmas.”
