Rémy Martin hits the airwaves

Rémy Martin has launched its first ever radio ad campaign in a festive push.

The brand will advertise its VSOP Cognac on Classic FM, focusing on the craftsmanship that goes into the brandy.

The radio push will be backed by print ads, outdoor posters targeting major retailers and a personalised direct mail campaign, and Rémy Martin gift cartons will also be available in the off-trade.

Brand manager Linda Sooprayen said: "Classic FM is a fantastic fit for Rémy Martin and current VSOP devotees. The evocative radio campaign will provide us with a new and exciting way to inspire our existing loyal fan base, while at the same time attracting the attention of current non-Cognac consumers.”

English wine: a happy harvest for Christmas

All across England and Wales, vineyards are being harvested. Down winding country lanes come armies of welly-wearing conscripts wielding secateurs and buckets, ready to reap the rewards of our vines. Happily they come, their cheeks ruddy with pride. Half an hour later they’re crawling over muddy clods with lacerated hands, drenched in claggy juice and cold sweat, as if ploughing through an endurance race.
