Languedoc producer Alain Grignon Wines has released the first of a new branded range targeted at 25 to 45-year-old women. Fruity rosé PG, or Pretty Gorgeous, is a Cinsault/Muscat Petit Grains blend .
Eurowines has added Argentinian estate Bodega Atilio Avena to its portfolio. The Mendoza winery makes a range of wines, from red and white Classico up to Gran Reserva Atilio Avena.
Buckingham Schenk has added a reserve Chardonnay to its Buckingham Estate range, designed to complement Buckingham Estate Reserve Shiraz. Made in Geographe in Western Australia, the Chardonnay is unoaked and made from 100% free-run juice. Both wines retail at £7.99.
Argento has released a wine to sit above Argento in its portfolio. Artesano de Argento comprises a Chardonnay and a red blend and retails at £8.99.
The House of Bollinger has given Bollinger Special Cuvée a new look, which aims to strengthen the impact of the Bollinger logo and give the blend a classic and minimalist look. The wine is available from Mentzendorff and retails at £36.50.
Charles Heidsieck, distributed by Maxxium UK, has declared its 2000 vintage. Head winemaker Régis Camus said the vintage was "a very generous year" with a "voluptuous" style.

The Rhône Valley is to hold its two-yearly wine festival, Découvertes en Vallée du Rhône, on March 16-21. Some 750 winemakers and merchants will present more than 3,000 wines from the Rhône's 22 different appellations .
