Michael Hardman has left his role of PR manager for the Society of Independent Brewers. Hardman, a former BBC journalist and one of the four founders of the Campaign for Real Ale, said: "I have
enjoyed my time working with the only expanding sector of the brewing industry at a time when traditional beer is back on the way up."
Brothers Drinks has launched a festive billboard ad campaign in 96 locations,
with the strapline You Can't Choose Your Family But You Can Choose Your Brothers.
The ads will feature Brothers Festival Edition pear cider and Brothers Strawberry and pear cider.
Manchester-based brewery Joseph Holt has gained national listings of its Champion Ale range across Sainsbury's and Waitrose. The brewery's Maple Moon (4.8% abv) and HumDinger (4.1% abv) will be available in
390 Sainsbury's stores, whil e larger Waitrose stores will be stocking Maple Moon and 1849 (4.5% abv).
