Guinness fires up festive promotion

Guinness is running a Christma s-themed £600,000 national outdoor ad campaign

for the rest of this month.

A spokesman said: "Using the 17.59 It's Guinness Time message, the new outdoor advertising has a festive and seasonal feel

in the lead up to Christmas."

The campaign will run in conjunction with

a

£5 million

TV and print campaign .

Rosé tinted glasses

I was asked recently what I thought the biggest change had been in wine fashion in the past five years. My answer was unequivocal: sales of pink wines. From being a niche that expanded and contracted with the sunshine, rosé has subtly but steadily become a stalwart of many merchants’ ranges, with Provence firmly at the top and asked for by name.
