Six new styles for Jacob’s Creek
Published:  08 January, 2009

Six new Jacob’s Creek wines are being made available in the UK.

The new additions will make their debut at the Australia Day tastings in Edinburgh on Jan 26 and London on Jan 29.

They include four new varietals from the 2008 vintage – Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo and Pino Noir – which join the Classic range with a recommended selling price of £6.79.

A new sparkling variant, Blanc de Blancs NV, is made from 100% Chardonnay and is expected to retail for £9.99.

Jacob’s Creek is also extending its Reserve range with Pinot Noir 2006, with a suggested retail price of £8.99.

Pernod Ricard UK’s head of marketing for wines, Annabelle Kuhn, said: “Consumer research shows us that Jacob’s Creek is still the UK’s favourite wine brand and ranked number one in terms of brand awareness, consideration and preference.

“We hope this year's tasting and new offerings will further highlight our commitment to producing premium, award-winning wines that offer the trade a portfolio for every occasion driven by consumer trends.”
