Whisky honours Michael Jackson

20 March, 2009

Berry Bros & Rudd has produced a limited edition whisky in honour of the late Michael Jackson, the whisky and beer writer who died in 2007.

The blend has been produced by Berry Bros spirits manager Doug McIvor in conjunction with Whisky Magazine, using opened bottles from Jackson’s collection of tasting samples.

It has a label designed by Michael’s brother-in-law.

A proportion of the proceeds from the sale will go to the Parkinson’s Society. Jackson was a sufferer with the disease for the last 10 years of his life.

The whisky is on sale at Berry Bros for £65.99 a bottle.
