Wye Valley teams up with Morgan

01 April, 2009

Wye Valley Brewery has produced a bottled ale in collaboration with the Morgan car company to celebrate the car-maker’s centenary.

Morgan Centenary ale has an abv of 4.4% and is available now in a 50cl bottle.

Mathew Parkin of the car company said: “Both of our roots lead to the small village of Stoke Lacy and our dedication to quality and traditional practices with a thoroughly modern twist make our joint venture much more than a brand name on a bottle.”

The beer was described by head brewer Jimmy Swan as “a chestnut-coloured ale, with a distinctive, nutty, biscuity flavour and crisp hop character”.

Wye Valley is best known for its Dorothy Goodbodys Wholesome Stout.
