Jacquart launches rare Oenothèque

27 March, 2009

Champagne Jacquart has launched a range of rare, limited edition Champagnes from outstanding vintages called the Oenothèque.

Cuvées in the collection are picked from years known for their quality and ageing potential, with top grapes from each vineyard region and cru.

The range

includes three Champagnes: Cuvée Nominée 1990, of which only 1,500 magnums were produced; Cuvée Brut Grand Vintage 2000, of which 20,000 bottles were produced; and Cuvée Brut Rosé Grand Vintage 2004, of which 15,000 bottles were produced.

The launch came shortly after Jacquart's

managing director, Jean-Marc Pottiez, left the company late last month.

A replacement is being sought.
