Ferret captured by Coe Vintners

11 June, 2009

Coe Vintners has been named sole UK agent for Pouilly Fuissé producer Domaine Ferret.

Established in 1840, Ferret – backed by Louis Jadot – uses hand-harvesting to produce wines from its own sustainably managed vineyards.

Coe’s wine development director Dirceu Vianna Junior MW said: “I believe that Domaine Ferret represents the finest expression from Fuissé.

“With the prestigious and knowledgeable customer base of Coe Vintners, I believe that this addition will find a warm and appreciative welcome.”

Domaine Ferret owns 17 ha in Pouilly Fuissé and produces three ranges which includes the signature, Pouilly Fuissé Classic, and the Tête de Cru and Hors Classé cuvees. The wines are produced in limited quantities from the four designated sites of Le Clos, Les Perrières, Tournant de Pouilly and Les Ménétrières.
