Arniston Bay has moved its distribution to Percy Fox following the end of Ehrmanns' joint venture with the Company of Wine People, after its acquisition by Global Vintners.

The South African brand is the 27th biggest seller in the off-trade and grew sales by 32% in the year to May 16, according to Nielsen figures in OLN's Wine Report 2009.

Ehrmanns managing director Mark Chapman said: "We are sad to see Arniston Bay move, but we are extremely proud that we've been instrumental in rejuvenating the brand in the UK market and wish Percy Fox well in continuing to progress on the solid foundations that have now been laid."
