Entry-level launch for Chateau Musar

30 October, 2009

Lebanon’s Chateau Musar is launching an entry-level wine called Musar Jeune.

Aimed at the UK off-trade and key European markets, it is described by the chateau as “youthful, unoaked and full of vibrant fruit”.

For the first vintage, Chateau Musar will be largely concentrating on the red Musar Jeune, but it will also have a small amount of rosé and white wine available.

Larger volumes of both the rosé and white will be available from this harvest onward.

The 2008 vintage will go on sale from this month, with the 2009 vintage predicted to be ready in the late spring of 2010 with an official launch at the London International Wine Fair.
